Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

We had a great 21-day tour of Greece organized by our Zicasso travel partner. Our travel agent did a great job in putting together a trip that focused on our areas of interest, particularly history, culture, food, and natural beauty.

Communications were great before and during the trip. The guides were uniformly outstanding and probably some of the best we have encountered on our many trips to dozens of countries. The logistics were smooth and the weather was wonderful!

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

The historical sites, especially the Parthenon and those in Delphi, Mystras, Olympia, Philippi, and the Minoan area of Crete, were highlights. Modern historical tours in Athens and Crete were also memorable. In Meteora, we enjoyed tours and hiking. The food experiences, especially cooking classes in Galaxidi and Crete, were also highlights.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

We would spend an additional day or two in Athens and plan better for all the food we were served (skip breakfast!). The amounts were prodigious!
