Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

Zicasso’s travel agent put together exactly the type of trip we wanted. All our in-country travel in Greece via ferries and air was handled perfectly. I can't emphasize enough that every one of the many guides with whom we toured was fantastic! During the month we spent in Greece, we stayed in nine hotels. With one exception (Mykonos), they were wonderful.

I highly recommend our travel agency to anyone wanting help with a custom tour of Greece.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

The day trip to Delos from Mykonos was #1 without a doubt.

Our stay in Santorini.

Our stay in Chania on Crete.

Our tour of the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum.

Our visit to the ruins at Mycenae.

Our tour of the ruins at Delphi and Akrotiri.

Our tour of the Knossos Palace and museum.

Our foodie walking tour in Athens.

Our days touring by car in the villages near where we stayed.

All of our walking tours in the "old cities" of the places we stayed.

All the food and beverage tastings that were part of our tours.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

I would spend just enough time on Mykonos to do the day trip from there to Delos. And I definitely would not stay in Little Venice on Mykonos.

Regarding our visit to Crete. We spent three nights in Heraklion and three nights in Chania. We toured Rethymno en route from Heraklion to Chania. If I had it to do over again, we'd stay in Heraklion long enough to tour Knossos and its museum,then allocate the rest of our time to stay in Rethymno and Chania.
