Iceland Vacation Review: Reykjavik, Northern Lights

I thoroughly enjoyed having someone else plan my trip to Iceland. I was able to get responses fairly quickly while planning the trip and while on vacation, through the messenger app.

The one thing that is never known when traveling there in October is whether the weather will cooperate with you. Although I was able to participate in some of the tours that were scheduled, unfortunately the high winds caused one to be canceled. It would have encompassed a two-day tour, which went away from Reykjavik. Once I was advised of the tour being canceled, the booking agent was able to get me a room at the same hotel I was staying at, so I did not have too many interruptions. Additionally, they tried to get me on another tour during the same week. However, the high winds and snow were not in my favor.

Once I reached out to find out whether a balance or refund would occur due to all of the changes, not only did I get a quick response about it, but I also got the notice of the refund and the refund on the same day. The only hiccup, which ended up evening things out, is that when I checked into the hotel, they said I was supposed to be there the day before. Otherwise, I will reach out to my agent again when I return to Iceland to experience the things I was not able to due to the wind and weather.
