Ireland Vacation Review: Killarney, Dingle, Ring of Kerry, Cliffs of Moher, Cooking Class, Private Driver

Some of the highlights were touring the House of Waterford Crystal, where I bought a gorgeous crystal cross for my curio and a crystal shamrock for my Christmas tree; kissing the Blarney Stone; touring the Titanic Experience; having a private Jameson whiskey tour and tasting; attending an authentic Irish Gaelic Roots dancing show; and visiting Killarney, Dingle, and the Ring of Kerry.

We visited a falconry, where falcons landed on our arms; fed baby lambs; watched border collies round up sheep; and even made Irish bread and scones. We also had a tour and tasting at the Guinness Storehouse, where we learned how Guinness is brewed.

We were very active, but never tired! Our driver was amazing at getting us from place to place on time and made sure there was plenty of food and drinks on the mini-coach for us to enjoy. Honestly, our travel agent's planning and our driver's driving skills could not be better. I would recommend them to everyone!

Making Irish soda bread and scones with the baker at her home was so nice. From the moment she opened her front door and handed us the aprons, we knew we would have a great time.

The Cliffs of Moher were breathtaking. You cannot capture that view in a photo. However, I am happy to have it memorized in my mind.

Lastly, the times we spent in the mini-coach with our driver were definitely at the top of the list of memories I have. I do not think I have laughed so much in the longest time. My abs should be rock-hard with all of the laughs! Our driver's warm and friendly chemistry with the 10 of us was unbelievable. He was truly a "people person" and had a magnetic personality that made him able to perform his job perfectly! We all felt as though he was part of the family and were sad to say goodbye to him on the last day.
