Italy Honeymoon Review: Rome, Amalfi Coast, Pompeii, Vatican, Sistine Chapel, St Peter's Basilica, History & Romance, Cuisine

We just came back from an outstanding honeymoon planned by our Italy travel agency and our contact there. We were very late in planning the trip (about 5 weeks before we wanted to leave), but our travel agency was still was able to put together a trip that met all of our priorities--a balance of luxury relaxation paired with some VIP sightseeing opportunities, since it was our first time in Italy. At every turn in planning, even on short notice, our agent listened to our wishlist and amended the travel plans accordingly. In planning and after the trip was finalized, the agency was also very responsive to any and all follow-up questions that came up, and provided detailed instructions, tips, and FAQs prior to our departure, in addition to the detailed itinerary. The trip itself (5 nights on the Amalfi Coast and 3 nights in Rome) went off without a hitch. We loved the hotel we stayed at on the Amalfi Coast; our drivers always arrived on time and were knowledgeable about the area; and our tour guides were fantastic in Pompeii and Rome. We would definitely work with this company again to plan future trips to Italy or the surrounding region.
