Italy Honeymoon Review: Venice, Florence, Rome, Positano, Amalfi, Siena, Ravello, Capri Boat Tour, Cooking Lesson

We did historical tours in Venice and Rome where the guides were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We felt very lucky, as one had a PhD in Venetian History and the one in Rome was an archaeologist. We also did a cooking class when we were in Florence which was a great experience. The chef owns a restaurant outside the city in Tuscany and offers a great learning experience (with tremendous views). While we were in the Amalfi Coast we did a private boat tour of Capri, which was a good way to experience the island and enjoy the day (especially without other tourists around). There were also 2 days where we did private day excursions with a personal driver. When we were in Florence we did a day trip to Siena and then visited a winery in Tuscany. I would definitely recommend that, as Siena is a great town to see with a lot of history and then doing the wine-tour in the afternoon makes for a perfect day. We also did a trip to Amalfi and Ravello while staying in Positano and had a similar positive experience with the driver.
