We traveled to Sicily. It was so easy and effortless for us. Zicasso’s travel representatives took care of every detail while planning this trip and were there for us when we needed them.

They guided us through the airport when we arrived in Rome (a huge airport), ensuring we wouldn't miss our connecting flight. When we needed to reschedule a tour later in the week due to weather, they handled it expertly. We spent 12 days there and had excellent drivers and guides throughout. All of our hotels were wonderful!

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

We had many great experiences in Sicily, including exploring the ancient ruins in Agrigento and Taormina, as well as visits to Mt. Etna and the beautiful town of Siracusa.

As wine lovers, we thoroughly enjoyed our wine and food tastings in Marsala and Mt. Etna. An excursion to the little town of Noto was another favorite, a very interesting place, followed by a wine and food pairing at a winery.

Our time on the beach in Cefalu provided much-needed relaxation. Our hotel stay in Siracusa was wonderful and we loved our dinner at Porto Marina!

On our last day, we had a really fun cooking class in Taormina.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

I would have liked to spend a little more time in Taormina. I could have skipped the trip to Ragusa and Modica.
