Italy Tour Review: Venice, Florence, Tuscany, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Gondola Ride, Wineries, Culture, History, Local Cuisine

Each region we visited in Italy was so unique it is hard to pick the most enjoyable or memorable part.  In Venice, the evening gondola ride with prosecco and cicchetti was our first experience in Italy after getting to our hotel from the airport. We thought it was the perfect introduction to Venice! Florence has become one of our favorite cities. From our arrival in Florence to our departure, we got to experience so much of the culture, food, history, and art the city has to offer. The most memorable experience in the Tuscan countryside was our winery day in Montepulciano and Montalcino.  Both wineries were interesting, beautiful, historical, and delicious! We had amazing experiences trying the wines and olive oils at both these wineries.

Lastly, all the hotel accommodations were amazing! Both the hotels in Venice and Florence were stunning. Not only was the location perfect within each city, but they each had amazing views, service, and atmosphere that allowed us to unwind and take in the end of our days. In addition, the villa in the Tuscany countryside was something I have dreamed of staying at since I wanted to visit Italy. This was a truly amazing experience Daniela and her team found for my husband and me.
