Our travel advisor, Valentina spent countless hours helping us hone down our itinerary just the way we wanted it. She was always courteous with a can do attitude. We spent over a year planning our trip and changing our itinerary. So she is a real hero in my estimation. Everything was seamless. The drivers were awaiting at the airport and train stations, and nearly all reservations were in order.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

The tour along the Amalfi Coast was amazing. I really enjoyed the experience of traveling by train. Very convenient with Eurostar. It was really all very memorable. We traveled from Rome to Naples, 3 nights in Sorrento, back to Naples and up to Venice; Venice to Florence and surrounding area, train to Assisi for 3 nights and then to Rome for 5 wee,s. Venice and Rome were very crowded, even in April, but I believe that is just the reality of travel. All in all, it was a fabulous 3 weeks.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

I would check out my itinerary more carefully and clarify a few things regarding the tours, what exactly is included? There were a couple of snafus, but this Italy travel company reimbursed us so it was OK.
