Italy Travel Review: Custom Italy Vacation, Naples, Rome, Venice, Positano, Amalfi Coast

Our trip to Italy was wonderful.  The travel specialist was very helpful with the planning and details, as well as arranging the accomodations.  I especially liked the day-by-day itinerary with suggested activities and restaurants.

Most of the accomodations, transfers and tours worked out perfectly; there were, however, a few slight problems worth noting....airport pickup late, Naples train pickup late (then got lost), Rome apartment problems (scary location / no electricity) which were rectified by the hotel (alternate apt), and terrible gondolier in Venice.

Having said that, I'd like to add that our accomodations in Positano were spectacular, our tour guide in Rome (the Ruins / Colosseum) was fabulous, our apartment in Venice was wonderful (and like new), and our final driver from Rome Termini to Airport (Andreas?) was amazing (sociable, knowledgeable, helpful, entertaining & polite)!!!
