Italy Travel Review: Rome, Florence, Tuscany, Sorrento, Art, History, Santa Maria Del Fiore

Overall our trip was outstanding. During the planning phase I outlined to Rose at our travel agency, in general terms, what we wanted to do and see on the trip. The proposed itinerary she came back with hit all the key points and the process of fine tuning and finalizing the trip plan was easy and efficient. A few months before the trip, our travel agency came back with a couple of proposed hotel changes to address COVID-related concerns they had identified. This proactive approach to ensure we would have a great trip was really appreciated.
The actual trip turned out even better than we had expected. The hotels the travel agency recommended were outstanding and they did a great job of ensuring some of our specific room requests were met. The tours that they arranged were amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour guides they retained. Each of the tour guides were extremely knowledgeable but equally important, were really intuitive and flexible which really enhanced the experience. The drivers and transfer arrangements between the various locations were flawless and our travel agency was able to seamlessly address some last minute changes that were required due to airline delays/cancellations.
In summary, the experience with this travel agency was truly excellent. Their focus on the customer experience along with their vast knowledge and professionalism resulted in a truly amazing trip experience. I will recommend them to friends and associates and look forward to working with them again on our next trip to Europe.
