Italy Travel Review: Tuscany, Siena, Chianti, Lucca Luncheon and Wine Pairing

First of all, this trip exceeded our expectations.Our Italy travel company and its staff receive an A+. Every aspect of the tour, from arrival to departure was handled professionally. I want to commend the work of Laura. She designed and executed the itinerary beautifully. I informed her of what we wanted to do on this trip, and she met our needs without being "pushy," (as I experienced with other travel agents). When our flights became an issue at the last minute (Air France had gone on strike), she rescheduled our pick up times without a moment's hesitation.

I was a bit nervous about the tour because we had never done this type of trip (with private drivers and excursions). The agency's team, however, quickly assuaged any concerns. Everyone was on time, professional, and amicable. Our tour guides for the private excursions were knowledgeable and personable, providing a nice balance between information and  enjoying the areas we visited. We were fortunate to have our guide on the Chianti wine area tour, and a day visit to Lucca. The private excursion was so much more enjoyable because of him. It was like traveling with our son. 

We have traveled extensively through Europe and the Caribbean. My husband and I both agree this was probably the best trip we ever experienced. I would highly recommend this travel agency to anyone looking to "build memories" for a lifetime.
