Italy Travel Review: Venice, Florence, Rome, Milan, Tuscany, Lake Como, Cinque Terre, Capri, Vatican Tour, Cooking Class

Overall,our Italy travel company did an excellent job of helping me arrange tours, hotels, and logistics for our 17 day trip to Italy.  Everything except 1 hotel (which claimed that they were not paid in advance) was perfectly executed (our agent sent us back the cost for the hotel right away). Drivers were always where they we supposed to be. Tour guides were prompt and courteous and very knowledgeable. And Hotels that were picked were all fantastic.  We had a group of 6 and to coordinate all the travel, payments, and the finer details takes a lot of work.  Our agent and team were very good at what they do.  For the most part all the tours with the exception of 1 or 2 provided a lot of value and those tours like the Vatican in Rome and Academia in Florence really were better having a private guide.  Plus we got in right away and didn't have to wait in long lines.  All the guides spoke pretty good English and were knowledgeable.  I would have liked to have had a broken down cost of each hotel, tours, transportation vs. just a per person costs.
