Italy Trip Review: Florence, Naples, Catania, Palermo, Syracuse, Trapani, Erice, Pompeii, Private Cooking Class & Street Food Tours

We absolutely loved working with Eleonora and Elena at our travel agency for our trip to Florence, Naples and Sicily. I normally arrange our own travel, but because we don't speak Italian and we were traveling during the holidays, I wanted some extra support on this trip. It was wonderful feeling that we had a team of people always offering support while we were traveling. They really listened to our interests --- art, food, cooking, archaeology, nature --- and crafted an itinerary that was customized just for us. I had also asked to take advantage of being there during Christmas and seeing and doing things that are only available at that season, and they listened to that, too. I sent them a huge laundry list of places that we were interested in seeing, well over what we could do in 12 days, and Eleonora helped me make the best choices and come up with a program that we were all happy with. 
Transfers were handled seamlessly and we were very happy with the hotels that they chose for us. They were very good about communicating both in advance and while we were on our trip. (We had a private group set up in WhatsApp and they were always available and responsive, even on Christmas.) Of the many drivers and guides that they set up for us, I don't think a single one was late or not where we expected them to be. Which is pretty extraordinary. We had one issue where they booked a domestic flight for us, I didn't understand the baggage allowances and we had to pay to gate check luggage, and Eleonora insisted on refunding the extra fees to us even though she wasn't required to do so. They are super responsible and I really appreciate the many ways they went above and beyond to give us great service.
I would 100% work with this agency again when we return to Italy, and I would recommend them to anyone else.
