Italy Vacation Review: Rome, Sorrento, Capri, Vatican, St Peter's Basilica, Sistine Chapel, Colosseum

I have to say the best part of our trip was our stay in Sorrento,  We really liked the slower pace and less crowded aspect of the area.  We were scheduled for a boat tour around the Island of Capri which was cancelled due to rain.  However, our agent was able to reschedule it for the next day.  That day started out being cloudy with light rain, but soon cleared giving us blue skies and warm weather.  THAT was the best day of our entire trip!  We also really liked Rome and that's a lot coming from someone who has mostly considered the term "great city" as an oxymoron.  The Vatican museum, Sistine Chapel, St. Peter's Basilica and the Coliseum conjured up feelings of sensory overload.
