Italy Vacation Review: Rome, Tivoli, Pompeii, Six-Day Trip

We really enjoyed the first day, seeing Rome by golf cart with our guide. He was excellent, knowledgeable, and accommodating, customizing where he took us and how long we stayed there based on our interests. He also gave us great suggestions about what to go back to, which we did over the next few days, even running into him at one of the places.

Also, Pompeii was absolutely amazing and well worth the trip from Rome. While in Tivoli, the travel agency made lunch reservations for us at one of the most unique restaurants we’ve ever been to. We’d never have taken a golf cart up a hill to get a restaurant at the foot of a temple. I also have to mention that one of the drivers was a delight. His Mercedes S-Class cars were beautiful.
