Our first trip to Japan was perfect, thanks to Zicasso’s travel agency! The itinerary and careful planning met all of our expectations.

We were able to visit historical sites and experience local culture with our wonderful guides. And we didn't feel like typical tourists because our guides provided so much information, things we wouldn't have learned going by ourselves. The itinerary took us to Tokyo, Hakone, Kyoto, Nara, and Osaka in 12 days, and while there was so much to see, we didn't feel rushed or like we missed out on anything.

We highly recommend our tour operator to anyone wishing to have a personalized experience visiting Japan!

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

Each of the guides was spectacular because they provided local insights and were so thoughtful in ensuring we were happy. They were also able to make adjustments based on our needs along the way.

Highlights of the trip (other than the wondrous historical temples and shrines) were the ramen tour in Tokyo and a cooking class in the home of a local Kyoto woman. The itinerary allowed for our own time to explore each of the locations, and this was made easier because of the guides' recommendations and because it's so easy to get around on public transportation.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

We would spend more time in Japan to explore other areas! A three- to four-week trip would be ideal.
