Excellent trip. Loved Japan!

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

Inspired by Architectural genius of Tadeo Ando. Stayed at 2 hotels he designed........ hotel on Awaji Island & Benesse House Museum.
Very special.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

Spend 1 more day & evening on Naoshima Island.
Spend 1 more day hiking at our luxury Ryokan.
Make sure hotels put elderly guests near the elevator. (In Tokyo we had to walk a block to our room.)
Make sure guides understand that elderly guests move slowly and probably cannot do 5 things in a day. Three things plus lunch is enough.
