Overall we had the most amazing experience! To go on safari was a long time dream of my husband's and mine. To see the gorillas was a 35 year long dream since the movie Gorillas in the Mist! For our 15 year old son it was a great learning opportunity and life experience. It was actually our son who did all the research of where we wanted to go and studied ahead of time what we would expect to see. He did a fantastic job and then we brought that info to Andre @ Zicasso/the travel agency and he organized it all perfectly. There were no complaints or unpleasant surprises.
We've traveled before thru Zicasso and the travel agency and will continue to do so!

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

Each guide was genuinely enjoyable . Even though there is no topping the animals/wildlife we saw, I think the most memorable part was how the guides interacted with each other and when a siting was known the race to get there was on! It made me appreciate their hard work, it made me giggle, and it was fun.
No matter how many times you see a lion, giraffe, cheetah, baboon and more, each time was special because the circumstances were always different! For me, the absolute best was the gorillas, but again that was a dream I never thought would come true!

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

The only thing we agreed we would do differently was to do a trek to see the golden monkeys...but we would still want to do two treks to see the gorillas. Everything else was absolutely perfect!
