Our couple's trip to Kenya, Tanzania, and Zanzibar was truly amazing and a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We went to Nairobi, Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, Maasai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Zanzibar over two weeks.

Zicasso’s travel agency made it an easy and seamless experience. They communicated well, took care of us before we landed, and provided guidance on everything we needed, including what to pack.

After we landed, they met us at the airport, provided all transfers, and had their experienced drivers transport us around the country and take us on game drives. We loved our time with our guides in Kenya and Tanzania.

We were also able to visit a Maasai village and learn about their culture. It was wonderful to talk over campfires and learn about their experiences.

The service at every camp and hotel was exceptional, and whenever we had a question or issue, our agent was quickly available to triage.

We would, without hesitation, highly recommend a trip like this! Do it!

Our agent gave us the most magical trip and was able to keep it within our budget.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

We saw so many animals, it was like being in National Geographic. So many more than either of us had seen on prior African safaris. Even the elephant and giraffe experiences in Nairobi ended up being so much cooler than we expected!

We also loved the service at the camps in the Nakuru, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater areas. The staff truly went above and beyond with so much good food, drinks, and experiences.

We also loved Zanzibar and being at the beach. The Indian Ocean near Mnemba Island was a fantastic way to end the trip.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

I might skip Lake Naivasha and would probably do half-day rather than full-day game drives. We were so lucky to see so many animals because of our amazing guides/drivers that we didn't need to be out the whole day. Being back between 2pm and 3pm allows for time to rest, enjoy the camp, and sit by the fire before dinner. The full-day drives can get pretty long and hot in the Serengeti! We aren't photographers who might be out longer trying to get that perfect shot.
