Luxury Africa Safari Review: South Africa, Lion Sands Lodge, Botanical Gardens. Nature Walks, Horseback Riding

Needless to say, this was the trip of a lifetime. Traveling to South Africa, experiencing the wildlife and the beautiful environments of the area were breathtaking experiences. We had done some research initially with general ideas of what we wished, but were at a loss beyond that. Our agent at this Africa safari travel company was very adept at listening to our desires, needs, requests and negotiated a perfect experience for us. Her South African background proved invaluable in managing transitions and the knowledge of the area. She connected us   with excellent and I do mean excellent) guides every step of the way. Our accommodations were impeccable, and if she could have controlled the weather, we might need to create an altar in her name!. Most of the trip was all inclusive, so that all of our major decisions were made in the planning stages. During the "free time", our agent made suggestions that fit perfectly to what we had expressed interest in. Her restaurant recommendations reflected our input as well. Our transitions were smooth- someone was also meeting us and helping move us from one location to the next. We (4 of us) never felt unsure or awkward during these times- which otherwise might have been quite overwhelming. We have done a good amount of traveling throughout Europe; South Africa was a completely different experience and felt manageable and so enjoyable thanks to this company's attention to detail, responsiveness to our requests, and general professionalism.
