Luxury Africa Safari Review: South Africa, Zimbabwe, Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, Elephant Plains Safari Lodge, Cape Town

My husband and I recently completed a two week Safari with sixteen friends in South Africa and Zimbabwe. Our entire trip was planned and executed by this agent at this Africa safari travel company. All of our friends have expressed that this was a trip of a lifetime. My husband and I lived in the area at one time so we are familiar with the sites. Our agent left nothing for granted. The accommodations were absolutely amazing; Victoria and Alfred Hotel and it's staff made us feel as if we were the only guests and catered to our every need with charm and grace.  Accommodations in Johannesburg were great and a wonderful location for shopping and good food. Elephant Plains Safari Lodge was a great choice with friendly staff, comfortable accommodation and  sighting of the "big five" in abundance. The Safari Lodge in Victoria Falls was comfortable but the front desk staff needs more customer service training. 

Two events stood out as well. One in the group in error left US $500.00 on the dresser at the Victoria and Alfred Hotel, only to return in the evening to find that the housekeeper had reported this and kept it safe till we returned. Another guest' s wallet with credit cards and ID fell from his coat in his room. Our tour guide in JoBurg called the hotel, collected it and took it to the airport on our way back from Sabi Sands. That was honesty and great service.

Tour guide and driver were exceptional in knowledge and safety. They made our tours such fun and made sure we had an unforgettable experience. We gave this company and this agent a five star rating only because that is the highest but the deserve ten stars. We are already telling other friends to use this company for all their travel needs.
