Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

Our trip to Australia was great!

Our tour planner from this tour company was very diligent, and helpful from the very beginning. He had great suggestions and ideas for our itinerary that fit our life styles. He worked with us well and patiently on the extra details we needed to accomplish a perfect itinerary.

The only issues we had, was the pick up times from providers in the Port Douglas area. Just seems we spent a lot of time waiting long periods of time. It was very frustrating. the tour company was very quick to respond to our complains, and understood our frustration with those providers.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

There are many enjoyable moments in our trip, and it’s difficult to choose as each moment brought a new learning experience. But things that pops immediately in my head:

HOTELS

Hotel in Daintree Rainforest- a destination in itself.

Hotel in Kangaroo Island. Great B&B with attention to great food and personalized service. They even drove us at night to spot kangaroos and Koalas.

SIGHTSEEINGS-

Great Barrier Reef- by helicopter

Sidney Opera House tour- even though was very early in the morning, it was very interesting and well worth it!! Great tour guide!

Kangaroo Island- spotting Kangaroos, Koalas, Australian sealions in this beautiful remote island, priceless!!

Phillip Island- beautiful scenery and quite an experience seeing little penguins parading onshore.

TOUR GUIDES

Wine country- Our guide was outstanding, he was knowledgeable about the subject, plus very friendly and polite.

Kangaroo Island- The two guides were quiet a team!!!. Passionate and knowledgeable about their surroundings. Had a variety of activities, and the spot for lunch was priceless. They really made a difference on this experience.

Phillip Island- Our driver and guide. Was full of knowledge. Definitely made a difference.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

1) not travel during summer as this was one of the hottest years. But since we wanted to go to the Australian Open we had no choice.

2) Phillip island- I would not do the VIP viewing. Will stick with The Plus or if they offer it the Ultimate.

3) spend a couple more days in Melbourne, we got so caught on touring the surroundings that did not explore Melbourne much, and it’s a city with a lot to offer.

one thing we know for sure, is that we will use this tour company again. Thanks for an awesome and unforgettable adventure.
