Luxury Bali & Indonesia Family Vacation Review: Ubud, Volcano Trekking, Rice Patty Bicycle Tours, Beaches

All the arrangements were perfect for us, and the actual experience was even better than described. Our travel company did a really outstanding job of tailoring a trip for our extended family. The guide was fantastic... Knowledgeable, personable and very flexible in arranging our day based on how we were feeling. He was always right there, on time, with information and ready to help. The two hotels were gorgeous and more beautiful than the pictures. Both hotels provided service at the highest level... We are still talking about how they went out of their way to make sure we were perfectly satisfied.  One of my sons had a birthday while we were there. The hotel staff noticed this when they checked passports, and, unbeknownst to us, arranged a birthday cake on the appropriate day (complete with birthday greeting on the icing). Surprisingly, all the hotel food was not only delicious but also reasonably priced; the breakfast buffet that came with the room prices was varied, abundant and very good ( we don't usually expect that good a food experience at the hotels ). We will be talking about this trip for a long time.
