Luxury Botswana Travel Review: 1-Week Trip

We highly recommend the camp in Okavango Delta for the hardy traveler. It was a little cold at night but a great bush experience.   The water trips were great. The chef there and the meals were the best of all the places, despite his very basic bush kitchen.

The lodge in Chobe River was a great way to end the trip and we might have stayed a day or two longer there.
The camp in Chobe National Park was a little disappointing.  The staff seemed new and somewhat inexperienced.  The guide was great and the facility itself was nice.  In retrospect we might have skipped it and just done the other two. 

Planning advice was good but we would recommend even more layers and warm bedclothes for the camp in Okavango Delta.  Charging stations for the electronics worked out well. In general the warmth and care of the staff at each site was outstanding.
