I can't say enough about our recent trip to Ecuador. Working with this travel agency was a fantastic experience from the planning stage all the way through to the final day. Our agent designed the perfect independent tour for my husband and our two adult children.

We stayed in a beautiful cloud forest resort and did some amazing day and night hikes to explore this area. Next was the exact type of Galapagos trip that I had requested – very active, very immersive. We were able to see so many amazing things that we simply can't say enough about this part of our trip.

We travel a lot. However, this trip was by far the best we have ever taken, outside of a first-day flight delay that our agent also helped with.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

Ecuador is a difficult country to get around so we kept our travel to two locaitons. The cloud forest was amazing and then the Galapagos Islands (beyond amazing).
The cloud forest resort was INCREDIBLE. The hike was crazy unique where we walked down a river bed in wellies that was bizarre and fascinating along with finding some creatures we had never seen before. The FOOD and the SERVICE at this resort was so good from breakfast thru dinner. It was well above 5 star quality preparation.
Then on to the Galapagos which we had specifically requested to be active and be put onto a boat with hopefully active people. It was so active we were exhausted but saw everything we wanted to see and more.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

I think the only thing we might choose to do differently would be to add more time for another location on the mainland, such as the Amazon part of Ecuador which is again difficult to get to and the need for more days for travel and adventure. Additionally, upon your return to Quitio from the Galapagos, it is a long day at the airport (flights at midnight). Maybe add a day go visit Quito, and then fly out the next night (midnight).
