Luxury England Birthday Vacation: Manchester United VIP Tour, London, Liverpool, Stadium Tour

The trip was the Manchester United VIP Tour and Game Day , also a game in Liverpool, plus a few days in London.  The travel company was good.  I would rate at 3.5 to 4.  They delivered what they promised...but I wasn't wow'ed.  

Here's the good stuff:  This was my love's birthday surprise; A trip to the UK to see his favorite soccer team play.   He's an avid "football" fan and so we requested tickets to 2 specific games and the agency came through with what we asked for.  We were really excited that we could get the games requested.  Overall, everything went smoothly but, there were a few bumps in the road.

The not so great stuff:  The Agent that was assigned to my trip was on holiday or out of the office during most of the planning period.  She did have good coverage but I feel as if there was a personal touch missing.  She planned what we requested but didn't offer many insights about the area, the timing or options on things to do and see. We ended up traveling during a school holiday in the UK and everything in London was PACKED.  I would have expected a heads up about this so that we could have chosen different dates.  Another small thing that could have been done better was our transfer from the Liverpool train station to Anfield Stadium.  We were told that there are busses to the game right by the train station but there was no description of where to pick up the bus.  That area is quite large and we walked around asking people for about 30 minutes before we found it.  A map, marked with the bus stop location would have saved us anxiety and time.  

This is the 2nd trip I've booked through Zicasso.  The first was to Greece (using a different travel agency) and it was a 5 star experience all the way around!  I'll continue using the site for my global vacation needs.  I think it's a great service.
