Luxury Italy Family Vacation: Rome, Vatican, Florence, Pizza-Making Class, Pompeii, Sorrento, Seaside Hotel, Private Boat Trip

We very much enjoyed all of the sights in Rome- especially the tours of Ancient Rome, the Vatican and the crypts and catacombs. In Florence we especially enjoyed our private walking tour and our hotel- formerly a palace converted to suites(the roof of which offered a magnificent view of all of Florence!)Our whole family enjoyed the pizza making class we attended in Florence- definitely more appropriate for a family than a wine tasting. Pompei was a surprising highlight of a the trip- fascinating! The train rides were easy and gave us the opportunity to see so much of the beautiful Italian countryside. Our final destination, Sorrento was one of the most beautiful places we have ever seen. Our cliffside hotel and beach, private boat trip with stops to swim in the Mediterranean, wonderful restaurants and shops made it a wonderful way to end our Italy adventure.
