Luxury Italy Travel Agent Review: Ancient Rome Tour, Vatican Art Tour, Florence, Cooking Lesson, Venice, Boat Tour, Wine Tour...

The tours Doug set up for us where the very best.We had all private tours and a cooking course in Florence.We missed our Vatican art tour because I mis read some paper work,We proceeded to do tour without guide we rented audio headsets and did the tour it was good .I had contacted the tour company about my error and they arraigned with Doug another tour later in the weekend. There was a fee and we decided to do it,Thank Heaven we did same place same galleries unbelievable difference. The Tour guide was art historian who gave us the best tour of the trip. The cooking class was a 7/8 hour adventure,we had a ball making fresh pasta and full dinner.I mentioned earlier the time of year,We where the only group at class and later on in restaurant .The chef didn t sit with us but it felt like it,his sister served us the food we prepared in the class. One thing I need to mention when in Florence people ask how long your staying and we answered 3days then to Venice for 3days ,they all answered Venice is so expensive .(Venice is not the most expensive) they put some of our party in a panic.The one couple bought groceries in Florance to bring to Venice.We where staying in top hotels with breakfast included.LOL We planned our flights with a layover for 2days in Dublin including St.Patricks Day,I had arranged for us to march in the People's Parade which started the Dublin Parade, this was awesome .Dublin was planned on our own and had nothing to do with this tour company.It did cause some of the problems presented to Doug with the Planning of our Italy portion .
