Luxury New Zealand & Australia Trip Review: Sydney, Christchurch, Kangaroo Island, Wildlife & Glaciers

I am sorry to say, I would select the alternate booking agency. The day we missed was an experience we were looking forward to. We will be having a conference call with our trip planner to discuss reimbursement. One tour in NZ was canceled due to weather conditions. While the reason is understandable, they failed to contact us. By the time we contacted them to get the status of our pick up, it was too late to book another tour. 
We would also skip Christchurch.

As we spoke about while you were traveling and also upon your return, the hotel in Sydney had made a very terrible error with your booking. Although we did re-confirm with them a week prior to your arrival, they failed to catch their mistake and we had no way of knowing, even though we had done everything correctly on our end. From our conversation, it did sound like you enjoyed the complimentary upgrade to a 5-star property in an effort to make amends for the inconvenience you experienced.

Regarding your day tour in Sydney, the tour operator changed the date that was initially confirmed. Unfortunately, this was not received by us in a timely manner in order to let you know. I sincerely apologize for this disappointment and I am addressing the issue with our local supplier and also addressing how this could be avoided in the future within our office. It is very unlike us to have two mistakes like this with any of our clients.

In an effort to provide a very special and unique experience in Sydney, I do hope you enjoyed the complimentary tickets to the West Side Story performed at the Sydney Opera.
