Luxury New Zealand Review: Kaikoura, Waiheke Island, TIritiri Matangi Island, Wine Tour By Bike, Whale Watching, Food & Hikes

Trips to Waiheke island and Tiri Tiri Matanga were very enjoyable. Hiking to the seal colony in Kaikoura to watch baby fur seals playing in the rock pool was very memorable. We completed the Tongariro Alpine Crossing, a memorable (and tough) hike in very hot temperatures.

Whale watching by plane was also great, and my wife enjoyed snorkeling with seals in Kaikoura. Wine tours by bike in Blenheim was another high point.

Food was great everywhere - we enjoyed the food scene in Wellington especially.

So many great parts to this trip!
