Luxury South America Family Vacation Review: Ecuador, Galapagos Islands, Quito, Amazon Cruise

There was definitely too much traveling... 9 flights on 10 days is a little too much... Also, we would definitely choose another boat for the Galapagos. The guide was OK but not great... too much free time on the boat. Too bad when you are there only 2 full days... Also, not luxurious enough. (We understand though that all the other boats were full on the dates we were looking to travel, but...)

Thank you for taking the time to write a trip review on the Zicasso site.  I appreciate your kind words.  I am glad that, overall, you enjoyed your trip.  It sounds as though you especially liked the time you spent in the Amazon.

I am sorry the number of flights proved to be more than you would have liked.  I agree it was a fast-paced trip, but with the places you wanted to see and the number of days you had allotted for the trip, I don’t see how the flights could have been avoided.  You could have made an overland trip to the Amazon, but that would have taken around 4 ½ hours each way and would have cut into the time you had in Quito.

It was truly a pleasure working with you.  Thank you for giving me the opportunity to help you with this trip.  I hope you will remember our travel company the next time you plan a trip to Central or South America.
