Luxury Spain Vacation Review: Barcelona, Madrid, Cadagues, Grenada, Seville, Ronda, Private Winery Tour, Cooking Class

Our agent, the Executive Director of this Spain travel company, truly created the vacation of a lifetime for my wife and me. Throughout the process our agent was attentive, flexible, patient, and responsive. He took care of the big things and the little things. He took the time to get to know us so he could match the vacation with our interests, taste, pace, and budget. He put together an amazing itinerary that covered many wonderful stops, including Barcelona, Madrid, Cadaques, Grenada, Sevilla, Ronda, and Madrid. Nearly every day, we had either a wonderful tour and/or a special event. Those memorable events included a private afternoon with the owner of a winery and a cooking lesson in the apartment of a wonderful expert on Spanish cuisine. The private tour guides were hand selected by our agent and each one was both extremely knowledgeable and extremely personable. But, our agent also paid attention to the small things, such as explaining exactly where we'd find the car rental counter in the airport, arranging all transfers, and making us dinner reservations every evening. He was always available by phone and e mail throughout the trip in case we had a question or concern. My wife and I had debated whether to travel on our own or be part of a guided tour. The trip that our agency put together for us was the perfect compromise. We traveled on our own, with plenty of time to be spontaneous and do what we felt like doing, but at the same time we had an orientation to every town, along with the structure of an itinerary and the knowledge that there was someone we could turn to to take care of any need. We highly recommend this agent and his company to all who may be considering a trip to Spain. Based on our experience with this agent, we will now use Zicasso travel agents in other countries for our future trips.
