Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

We scheduled this vacation fairly last minute; they were very accommodating to updates to arrival and which activities we did. They had a good balance of scheduling things to do, but also allowing for "down time", which allowed for us to have flexibility while we were there and explore things on our own.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

My favorite activity we did was pasta making. The hosts were WONDERFUL and the food and wine were amazing.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

I would have a better idea of dinner and travel arrangements for countryside in Tuscany. The winery we stayed at was amazing, but it was not close to food besides on site (which was closed on Thursday). Also, we were not able to taste the wine at the Mastrojanni because they were booked (even though our tasting was supposed to be included in our stay and it was not clear to us that we had to separately arrange for the tasting).

After I read the last part of your review, I felt that I had to follow up on your comment posted with Zicasso.
First of all, I would like to thank you for choosing DG for your Trip to Tuscany and for your kind words and positive review.

It is very important for me that my clients are fully satisfied about our services and hotels. We always make sure that everything goes smoothly and keep constantly in touch with our suppliers to make this happen.

I have been cooperating with Mastrojanni Winery for several years and begun a cooperation also with their new Relais that opened a few years ago. I never had any problem before.

I did not know that the Restaurant is closed one day per week, but the Reservation department has communicated this to us upon confirmation. It had never happened before the pandemic and I believe this must be a temporary decision.

It is our fault because we did not read carefully the two pages of your confirmation.

I confirm that the Wine Sampling was included in the Welcome Dinner we offered you. Mastrojanni apologized and explained that there was is an internal lack of communication between the Reception and the Restaurant (maybe because of the event that was taking place – this is my opinion). Mastrojanni has refunded you the cost of the Bottle of Brunello and DG Platinum has immediately refunded you 100€. The refund will be on your card probably by the end of this week.
