Morocco Tour Review: Fez, Riads, Berber Musicians & Dancers, Culture, 20-Day Vacation

This travel company did great. The first thing I look for is how well do they listen? Our interests are a little bit different, e.g. not really interested in clubbing or beaches. My ideal is that I only have to tell the company once - they got it the first time with no problems.
Now that we've returned, I can say that their understanding was excellent. They understood what we were looking for and, in a couple of spots, gave us extra information to make sure we didn't miss something really important - which we would have had we not listened.
The places that we stayed were just what we wanted - small, unique hotels. Most of the places were Riads or classic Moroccan homes restored to their original glories and updated for modern amenities. We felt like we were in ancient Morocco without actually roughing it. After pretending it was the 19th century or earlier as we toured the cities, we went back and had a cold drink and hot shower.
Finally, their staff was outstanding. At every stage we felt like we were just traveling with close friends. Our driver really made the trip for us. We spent something like 20+ days with him, much of it in a car. By the end of the trip we wanted to adopt him.
The local guides in the various cities were also excellent although a little harder to characterize since the most we have was 4 to 12 hours with any one. But if we go again, we would be happy to go with any of them.
