Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

Our trip was thoroughly enjoyable. We had wanted to visit Morocco for years. Our journey with this travel company did not disappoint. Our driver/guide was with us from start to finish. He drove safely and courteously. His good sense of humor was appreciated and he was always punctual, kind, patient, and considerate. His love for his country was apparent as he described the sights we visited or drove through. He seemed to have friends everywhere we went. In Rissani we even got to enjoy lunch with his wife, mother, and darling little boy. We felt very secure in our guide's care. He was either with us or close by and available 24/7 during the whole trip. Only with his help were we able to track down our lost luggage and finally retrieve it. By the end of the trip we considered him a dear friend.
The whole trip was well organized from the beginning and problem free. The Riads we stayed in were fantastic. The hotels were 4 or 5 star. The night in the desert was a dream come true. Even the hours of driving between stops were very pleasant. The route was well chosen and the van we were in was comfortable.
We heartily recommend our travel agency. It is a very well run company.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

My husband's favorite part was driving through the countryside. He is very interested in geology and geography and Morocco does not disappoint in that regard. Seeing how the country's geography changed so drastically within a relatively small area kept his interest. Hours in the car were no problem at all for him.
My favorite parts of the trip were
1. Staying in the Riads in comfortable rooms and marveling at the intricate mosaics, pools, light fixtures and enjoying courtyard dining.
2. The night in the desert. That luxurious experience is like none other. The dunes, the stars, the Moroccan staff all made it unforgettable.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

We would try to avoid some of the shops in the Medina in Fez. The high pressure to buy can be quite unpleasant. It was particularly bad in the Palais des Herbe, which sold aragan oil products and herbs. It would have been better to discuss our interests ahead of time with the local guide to avoid shops that really had little interest for us. We really enjoyed the visit to the mosaic and pottery shop and also the tannery. So the tour of the Medina was mostly appreciated and we were glad to have a local guide as we would have been very lost without him.
There was a lot of walking which at times was tiring for us. We are 78 and 82 years old. We would try to slow down and stop for tea more if doing this trip again.
