Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

I had a wonderful trip to NZ. I gave our travel planner a rough outline of an itinerary and she was able to pull together a trip that met my needs, and within my budget (that was moderate). Since I wasn't comfortable driving on the left, this meant a month of travel utilizing planes, trains, buses and shuttles. And it all came together seamlessly, including all transfers. The accomodations all met or exceeded my expectations.
The travel planner's in depth knowledge of New Zealand and professional experience was invaluable.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

Half Day - Cape Reinga Fly/ Drive (Aeroplane). This was a flight to the very tip of New Zealand, Cape Reinga! I had requested to go to Cape Regina, and the planner managed to fit this in my budget. I doubt I would have booked this on my own, and was one of the highlights of the trip.
The planner also suggested that I go straight up to the Bay of Islands upon arrival in NZ. This was a great way to relax and get acclimated after a long journey.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

Even though I heeded the travel planner's advice and took stops out of my trip, there was still a lot of moving, I might up have tweaked itinerary a bit. I also am not sure I would have taken the long train journey from Auckland to Wellington.
