Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

Overall, the trip was great! We enjoyed all of the activities and everything went smoothly. Zicasso’s tour company was very helpful and accommodating before the trip, as well as when we were there. The app was incredibly helpful and relatively easy to use. We were pleasantly surprised with the price of everything. There were several experiences that we loved, but would have never thought to book for ourselves without the agency’s recommendation.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

We all loved Hobbiton, the Te Puia experience in Rotorua, the Weta workshop, and our private tours in Wellington and Queenstown. It’s difficult to choose a favorite as they were all so different and enjoyable.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

When we first arrived, we had to wait around for the rental car company to open, which was a slight inconvenience after such a long flight. It looked as if other rental companies were open when we arrived, so just planning that out better would have been nice.

The accommodations in Matamata and Rotorua were not quite as nice as we expected from the online photos and didn’t seem quite as clean as we would have liked. Not a huge problem, but I don’t think we would stay at those places if we did the tour again.
