Make sure all destination has at least one full day & night each to explore.  

Eliminate Doubtful sound due to long distance and 13 hour event.  Look at Milford Sound as alternative since it was closer. 

Eliminate long 4-5 hour winding drives up & around mountains on south isle.  short 2-3 hour drives okay.

I so appreciate you taking the time to provide your candor and feedback about your experience.  We value any and all feedback from our travelers.  Although we strive to hear about positive experiences, we believe that constructive feedback allows us the opportunity to improve upon the services we provide.  

That being said, we are quite disappointed that you were left with an overall feeling that our services were "average".  My team and I take great pride in exceeding the expectations of our travelers, and thus we view mediocrity as a failure.  In looking back at all of our communication during the planning, traveling, and return of your trip, I am saddened that these issues were not brought to our attention.  We strongly feel that we could have turned these experiences around.

Additionally, from your feedback, I realize that I constantly need to think about where each individual is from.  As you are blessed to be living in a beautiful region of the U.S, I realize that the scenic coastal drive through 'Punakaiki' which we often recommend, was not of great interest to you.  Although the majority of our clients feel this experience is a highlight of their trip, it is something definitely to keep thinking about.
