We had a wonderful 15 days in New Zealand. Our travel agent and her company provided not only very helpful and tailored guidance, but also great coordination and assistance for a trip that, due to a family health issue, we were only able to plan with <3 weeks notice.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

Highlights were plentiful: Our schedule limited our South Island visit to only five days, not nearly enough. But experiencing the rebuilding efforts of Christchurch is incredible for anyone interested in urban planning. We also visited Mount Cook and the charming Oamaru. Ten days on the North Island enabled us to be more adventurous, with highlights being: the 4-hour cave tour (including a 100 meter abseil) in Waitomo; hiking the Tongariro Crossing; and sea kayaking at Cathedral Cove (Hahei).

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

We'd have more time! The New Zealand landscape is gorgeous, and its offerings plentiful for those who want to be active outdoors. And the Kiwis were consistently among the most hospitable of those in dozens of countries I've visited.
