Peru Luxury Tour Review: Machu Picchu, Cusco, Sacred Valley, Hiking

Less travel within Peru. I would have stayed one full day in Cusco and combined the excursions in the Sacred Valley into a single day. I expected most meals to be included for the price we paid. Unfortunately, only 1 dinner was included.

Thank you for posting your review of your recent trip. It is great to hear that our Travel Expert supported you well throughout the planning and booking process of the trip and that you were aware of the process along the way.  
As the principal attractions in the Cusco Region (the Inca Region) are located quite far apart, there is always a necessity to include a certain amount of travel to get you from place to place. With a shorter 7-days trip like yours, this can be an added challenge. We always try to start our trips in the lower altitudes of the Sacred Valley (as in your case) so that you get the best chance to acclimate to the region. We also plan carefully to minimize distances traveled and maximize time at the attractions. 
Regarding the meals included in your trip verses the price paid. We can of course include as many or little meals as you like. Our itineraries clearly indicate the meals included in your trip, so that you understand this at the time of booking. For your trip we provided the meals as promised. On revision of your itinerary, I can confirm that you received all breakfasts, x2 lunches, x1 dinner and x1 box lunch for your Inca Trail trek. The price of your trip is based on the services and level of hotels included. Of course the more meals that we include the more expensive the trip becomes. We typically find that most clients prefer not to have set meals included in their trips as often they prefer to choose when, where and if they want to dine. Whatever you need we can design a trip to accommodate.
