Peru Travel Review: Biking through Countryside, Huayna Picchu, Rock Climbing Sacred Valley, Early Hike up Rainbow Mountain, Culture

We had a truly epic trip to Peru and owe it to the travel company!  From beginning to end, they were an amazing partner in helping us maximize our time, immerse into the local experiences, and feel safe.
Our trip planning started with a phone call where we had the chance to share our goals for the trip.  We wanted a multi-sport, cultural immersion, and we also wanted to be as Covid safe as possible.  Based on our requests and their local expertise, the travel company sent us a draft itinerary with most activities booked as private activities.  This baseline gave us a good understanding of what was realistic within our time and budget.  We then made a few iterations before locking our plan.  With each iteration, the company was great at providing responses to our questions/requests and adding in their perspective.
From when we landed in Cusco to when we left, the travel company service was fantastic.  Our guide throughout the trip, I could not speak more highly of him.  He was an AMAZING guide and wonderful person!  He was passionate about his job, knowledgeable about the sites, and a truly caring country host.  During our Inca Trail hike, he seemed to know every inch of the trail, sharing stories about the Incas, ruins, and flora.  Half way through our trip, we decided to add a visit to Rainbow Mountains.  Our guide quickly brainstormed how we could adjust our schedule and made arrangements for us to add it to our itinerary.  While driving on the road, we saw a local farmers market that we wanted to stop at.  In addition to making arrangements with the driver to make the additional stop, our guide joined us as we walked through the market to explain the cultural nuances of the various activities and interactions we observed.  
To ensure we always had access to help, the travel company also provided an on-the-grounds contact whom we could call if we ever had any needs.
We are picky travelers and the company was able to accommodate all our requests.  I was impressed by their service and recommend them for anyone planning a trip to Peru.
