Peru Travel Review: Cusco, Sacred Valley, Aguas Calientes, Puno, Lake Titicaca, Lake Sandoval, Machu Picchu, Wayna Picchu Hike

This travel agency did an awesome job for us on our vacation in Peru! There was not really a single glitch in the entire 12 day itinerary, even though we took 3 domestic flights, 2 trains, a bus, numerous tours, and stayed in five different hotels (and one of those two different times). One of our flights was delayed by an hour and a half, but even then everything went smoothly when we finally arrived. The quality of their tour guides and drivers were top notch and they really went out of their way to try to use the same drivers and tour personnel when we were within the same area of the country. I almost feel like we were taken care of too well, but it was really appreciated when you are in a foreign country and are not fluent in the local languages. Four of the five hotels were top notch and were very enjoyable. The hotel in Aguas Calientes (near Machu Picchu) was somewhat average, but the bed was still comfortable and I'm sure that the hotel prices are very inflated there and we asked for a lower budget trip. There were four of us traveling together and several of our tours were private, which really made for a great experience. They used very nice vans for all of their transfers, although a couple of the transfers were done by the tour company at the arriving location. Those were usually in small buses.
