Peru Vacation Review: Cusco, Sacred Valley, Humantay Lake, Rainbow Mountain, Hiking, Cooking Class, 8-Day Trip

I came across Zicasso while googling a company that would help with my travel planning to Peru.  There are many companies that i could have used but i liked the story of how Zicasso started and is operated.  I was matched with 2 travel companies and after speaking with both, made my choice (i liked both but went with the local agency).
 The company that i ended up working with was this one and specifically, Pedro, who worked with me on putting together an itinerary for me and my son.  From the moment we were met at the airport upon our arrival to Cusco, to the moment we were dropped off to fly back, we felt nothing but professionalism, positive energy and country pride from all the guides we encountered. Every detail was thought through, Pedro and his team had an excellent communication system with us, everyone was always on time, we felt pampered.
Pedro listened to my hotel requirements and all the properties that were chosen for us us met all our expectations and at times, exceeded  them.  We loved the hotel in Cusco and the resort property in Sacred Valley was beautiful and peaceful.
All the guides were great but we spent most of our time with Freddy who was AWESOME.  We enjoyed his company and learned  a lot about Peru thru his stories.  The trek to the Rainbow mountain was once in a life time experience and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide with us than him.
While everyone associates Peru with Machu Picchu, we had a chance to see and learn so much more about this beautiful country. We challenged ourselves physically like never before.  It was an experience we will never forget.
