Peru Vacation Review: Lima, Machu Picchu, Murals, Culture, Incas, Salt Flats, 9-Day Tour

My husband and I just got back from our trip to Peru, and we both were wowed by the travel agency’s itinerary, with its focus on culture. That included a tour of murals in Lima’s Barranco neighborhood, a visit to an Andean village where people lived and dressed as their Incan ancestors, and a tour of the Maras salt flats. Our guides were exceptional, and helped us steer clear of the crowds in Machu Picchu, while delving into the known history and lifestyle of the Incas.
