I highly recommend booking your personalized Portuguese itinerary with our Zicasso travel partner. We booked a short six weeks before our trip, yet he still put together unique hotels, an amazing variety of dining experiences, and guided tours that perfectly met our interests.

Our 10-day trip was a perfect introduction to Portugal in late October, with home bases in Lisbon, Évora, and Porto. Our travel agent booked accommodations that exactly met our preferences for warm, professional staff, historic buildings, and luxurious touches. We felt like royalty.

Our Zicasso tour operator arranged a terrific and varied slate of guided private and small group experiences balanced with time to relax and explore on our own. He was immediately responsive to our requests and questions before and during our trip. Every aspect of the trip flowed seamlessly. We hope we have the opportunity to book with our travel agency again.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

We loved the unique architecture and tiles everywhere. Our Lisbon guide shared his incredible wealth of knowledge of the history of each city section and his obvious pride in the rich heritage.

Our guided tour of a cork facility and nearby Castelo de Evoramonte offered rich cultural insights and breathtaking views. Our guide for the Évora Cultural Experience was exceptionally knowledgeable and engaging.

We loved not only the wine and Port, but also the gorgeous views in the Douro Valley.

We also loved course after course of regional specialties, all served with pride.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

I would love to return during warmer months and tour the Algarve.
