Portugal Luxury Vacation Review: Lisbon Festival, Local Cuisine, Sintra

The only two items we would do differently and these are minor items is one, it would have been nice to know that the castle in Sintra is so popular that we would want to get their first thing in the morning if we were interested in touring it.  We thought we would see more of it randomly on our hike but it was covered by the trees,etc. and by the time we walked by it, it had so many tourists that it wouldn't have made sense to go in.
The other item is we should have spent more time and been more specific as to the type of restaurants we like as all of our trip planner's recommendations were good, they just may have been a little too good for our liking.  We would rather go to restaurants that the locals go to, that are smaller and more off the beat and path.  In the end, though, we had great restaurant experiences and this was more our fault for not explaining this ahead of time.
