Portugal Trip Review: Lisbon, Porto, Douro Valley, Hiking, Local Cuisine, Fado, Sunset Cruise, Private Tours, Eight-Day Travel

Our travel agent and her staff did an amazing job planning and executing our trip. She was collaborative and truly listened to us in the planning stages. When we were in Portugal, sometimes the weather wasn't the best. She not only gave us umbrellas, but had a Plan B (and even a Plan C) if needed.

The drivers and guides were always on time, very knowledgeable, and made the trip memorable! I feel like we had the perfect amount of time in each city – two nights in Porto, two in the Douro Valley, and three nights in Lisbon. We were on the move, but we could find pockets of downtime if needed (or go out in town on our own if we were up for it).
