Portugal Vacation Review: Lisbon, Porto, Wine, History, 10-Night Trip

From the start of initial planning a year earlier to the last airport drop-off, our travel agency was excellent.

Our group of six adults traveled very comfortably in the van for 13 days. Our remarkable guide was so knowledgeable about history and the sites we visited. He was flexible when needed and took us to the most amazing restaurants throughout the country. He handled the one “hiccup” we had immediately and professionally (a hotel payment issue). We covered a lot of ground and saw so many amazing historical sites, and our guide provided context for everything. He also suggested activities and restaurants for our “free” days that were spot on. We had very informative and interesting talks about culture and current issues.

So many sites were overly crowded with large tourist groups and huge buses, and we were very thankful we were a small group and had our guide with us. He not only provided exceptional services, he was a joy to be around, cheerful, and engaging. I highly recommend the services of Zicasso’s travel company and it would be good fortune to have him as your guide. We all feel we have a new friend in Portugal. Portugal is the place to be!
