We had an incredible trip. The staff at the travel company was wonderful to work with. They were very informative and gave us excellent service. Everything worked out beautifully for the trip. We appreciated the fact that they were available whenever we need them. I would definitely recommend them to other people. We also liked the tour company that we were working with in Africa.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

Both the chimpanzee and gorilla treks met and even exceeded our expectations. It was wonderful seeing all the animals in the wild along with a 20 min. wildebeest crossing on the Mara River. We also loved seeing the babies: baboon, chimp, gorilla, leopard cubs, lion cubs, and elephants. The baby gorilla even approached and touched Frank’s leg!!

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

Although we totally enjoyed the personalized nature of the trip, we would have enjoyed having a little more interaction with other people at some of the camps and maybe for some of the game drives. The camp in Tanzania had dinners as a group, but the ones in Uganda were much more solo.
